By holding a poll, Elon Musk has left it up to users to decide about Twitter management.
Even before he became the owner of Twitter, Elon Musk conducted several surveys and according to their results, he took various actions, including selling Tesla shares. After the CEO of Tesla took over the social network Twitter, he returned some blocked accounts, including Donald Trump’s account, with a survey. Now the new owner of Twitter wants users to decide on the management of this social network by holding a survey and maybe resigning as CEO.
Since Elon Musk became the owner of Twitter, we have faced major changes in this social network. Many of the forces of this platform have been fired, and the new Twitter Blue service gives users a blue tick for a fee. Of course, these changes have caused problems and even some prominent figures have left Twitter. Some time ago, several prominent journalists’ accounts were blocked, and of course, access to these accounts was possible again.
Now, Elon Musk has said in a tweet that from now on, a survey will be held to change the main policies, and he also apologized for the previous changes. Minutes after announcing this issue, the first poll started on the continuation of Elon Musk’s management.
Poll Elon Musk to continue managing Twitter
The first change for which Elon Musk conducted a survey is related to his role on Twitter. Currently, Musk is present as the CEO of Twitter a social network and wants to know whether he should remain in this position or not. Of course, if Musk is removed from managing Twitter, he will still own it.
In this survey, Elon Musk asked users whether they should be removed from Twitter management or not. He has also said that he accepts the result of this survey and follows it. So far, more than 11 million people have participated in this poll, and 56.3% of them are in favor of Elon Musk’s resignation.
Despite the above result, there are still 6 hours left until the end of the poll and the result may change. In addition, security experts have repeatedly warned about the possibility of manipulating poll results on Twitter.
Despite all of the above, when Elon Musk started running Twitter, many reports indicated that it would be an interim role. Of course, Musk himself announced his plan to find his replacement nearly a month ago.
We have to wait and see what the results of the recent poll are and if Elon Musk steps down from the management of Twitter, what future awaits this social network?
