By releasing iOS 17.3 and macOS 14.3 updates, Apple prevented hackers from exploiting 10 security holes.

Last night, iOS 17.3 and macOS 14.3 updates were released for iPhone and Apple MacBooks. This update allows Apple users to create interactive playlists in Apple Music and protect their stolen phones.

On the security updates page, Apple mentioned receiving 15 security packages with the iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 updates and receiving 16 security packages with the macOS Sonoma 14.3 update. Apple has fixed a security issue that affects the device’s neural engine and causes arbitrary codes to be generated on the device.

Some hackers were able to access the user’s sensitive information through the security hole in the email search section and shortcuts. The security problem of time zone management in iOS also provided hackers with access to users’ phone numbers.

With the release of the iOS 17.3 update, Apple has fixed the security problems of the Safari application, the WebKit, and the Kernel development kit, along with the security holes that compromised sensitive information.

iOS 15.8.1 and iOS 16.7.5 updates have also been released to increase the security of older iPhones.
