Samsung accidentally revealed the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 5
As part of its promotional activity, Samsung Romania has published documents that include the price of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Samsung Romania has launched a new promotion whereby people who pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 5 between July 26 and August 2 will receive 10 units. As usual, this activity comes with a terms and conditions PDF that reveals the price of the device.

According to the GSMRNA report and based on this file, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 with 256 GB of internal memory will cost 6599 Romanian leu, which is equivalent to 1498 US dollars (or 1335 euros). For comparison, the 256GB version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 launched last year for 5,700 Levi, so the new model is 16% more expensive.
Until now, the price of Galaxy Z Flip 5 has been mentioned in various reports. Earlier this month, based on information from Greece, in a report, the 128 GB model of this phone was priced at 1300 euros. Yesterday, in a report from France, it was announced that the 256 GB model of this device will cost 1200 euros.
It should be noted that different EU countries have different VAT rates. This amount is 19% in Romania, 24% in Greece and 20% in France. The price before VAT for the 256GB version of Samsung’s foldable phone is 1120 euros in Romania and 1000 euros in France. The Greek report also indicates that the 128 GB version of the device costs 1050 euros.
Samsung officially announced a few weeks ago that it will hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26. It is expected that we will see the introduction of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, the Galaxy Watch 6 series, and the Galaxy Tab S9 family at this event.
