AirPods Pro 2 was introduced at last year’s Apple event along with the iPhone 14 family. At that time, these AirPods were released with a case equipped with lightning. Now, a year after that period, Apple AirPods Pro 2 has entered the game with a case equipped with a new port. This is good news; Because if you want to get AirPods Pro 2 along with one of the iPhone 15 series phones, the model with a USB-C case does not need a separate charging cable.
Apple had previously unveiled the first generation AirPods Pro with a case with the mentioned port, but there was no such news for Cupertino’s completely wireless headphones flagship until the WonderLust event. It is worth noting that this new charging case is only compatible with the second generation of AirPods Pro and you cannot use it to charge the previous generation.
