A useful and important feature is added to WhatsApp
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will facilitate the process of sending files.
Google has integrated Android’s default file-sharing app, Nearby Share, with Samsung’s Quick Share. The new update enables seamless file sharing between Android phones and computers running Chrome and Windows operating systems.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is testing a new feature for sharing files with contacts. According to leaked information, the latest beta version of Android WhatsApp uses Bluetooth to transfer files.
The mentioned feature allows users to share files up to 2 GB in size, which is faster and more convenient than traditional methods such as sending files via chat or using cloud storage.
Both users must be in the Share Files section of the application to transfer files correctly and stay in this section until the transfer is complete. WhatsApp uses end-to-end encryption to transfer files, and users’ phone numbers will not be visible when transferring files.
It is not yet known when the new WhatsApp feature will be released. So far, this messenger has added several new features including creating polls and voice messages to channels.
