The price of Pixel 8 and 8 Pro for the US and UK market has been revealed
A price increase in at least one member of this family seems inevitable.
There is not much time left until the official introduction of Google Pixel 8 and 8 Pro on October 12, but the disclosure of information about these phones continues. In the latest reports, the price of this family has been leaked for the American and European markets, and the basic model will start at $699.
Revealing the price of Pixel 8 and 8 Pro
A well-informed source on the X social network named Kamila Wojciechowska published an image in a post that apparently belongs to Google itself. In this image, it is mentioned that the Pixel 8 will be available at a base price of $699 and the Pixel 8 Pro will be available at a base price of $899. According to this table, the price of the regular model will be 100 dollars more expensive than the previous generation model.
According to the image, the standard model will have 8GB of RAM and a dual camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The Pro model also comes with 12GB of RAM and uses a triple camera setup including a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a 48MP telephoto camera.
Pixel 8 and 8 Pro use Google’s new proprietary Tensor G3 chipset. Another difference between these two models is their display. In the normal model the refresh rate varies between 60 and 120 Hz, while in the Pro model this rate varies between 1 and 120 Hz.
In another report, a reliable source named Roland Quandt has also confirmed that the Pixel 8 will be available in the UK at a price of £699 and the Pixel 8 Pro at a price of £999. Therefore, both phones will have a price increase in the UK. Last year, the Pixel 7 was launched at a price of £599 and the 7 Pro at a price of £849.
Additionally, the Pixel Watch 2 is said to launch in the UK with a base price of £349.
