iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will have a 2 TB version!
It seems that iPhone 15 Pro models will have a minimum of 256 GB and a maximum of 2 TB of internal memory.
According to a new rumor, this year Apple wants to launch iPhone 15 Pro models in a version equipped with 2 TB of internal memory, which is considered a record.
One of the sources of the technology world with the user account yeux1122 on the Korean Naver blog has made such a claim. According to yeux1122, a supplier has confirmed that the iPhone 15 Pro models will have twice the storage capacity of the iPhone 14 Pro models.
2 TB internal memory for iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max
In addition to this source, an account on the Chinese social network Weibo also made the same claim. The account also mentions that the base version of the next-generation iPhone Pro models will have 256GB of internal storage, which is double the 128GB of the current generation.
If the Weibo user’s post is correct, Apple will launch the next-generation iPhone Pro models in four versions with 256 and 512 GB of internal storage, along with 1 and 2 TB versions. According to the rumors about the increase in the price of iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, the release of these products in the said versions seems logical.
Most reports point to an increase in the price of the next-generation iPhone Pro models. For example, the Pro model is said to have a base price of $1,099 and the Pro Max model will have a base price of $1,199. If the basic version of these products has 256 GB of internal memory, Apple can justify its price increase.
For the first time in 2021, with the introduction of the iPhone 13 series, Apple decided to add a 1 TB version to the Pro models. The reason for such a release is new features like ProRes video recording, which require much more space than normal videos.
According to rumors, Apple will unveil the iPhone 15 series on September 12 or 13.
