The Galaxy S23 series has been the subject of many rumors and reports in recent weeks, and several times we have been faced with different dates for their unveiling. But now, two reliable sources in the world of technology have announced the introduction of this family on February 1, 2023.
Two sources, Ice Universe and OnLeaks, who have a good record of disclosing information about unannounced products, have announced this date for the introduction of the next generation of Samsung flagships in a tweet. If this date is true, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S23 series eight days earlier than the Galaxy S22 series.
If the unveiling ceremony of the next generation of Galaxy S series phones is held on February 12, Samsung should publish the invitation for this event in the coming days and weeks.
Possible specifications of the Galaxy S23 series
According to rumors, Samsung will use the overclocked version of Qualcomm’s latest chip, Snapdragon 8 generation 2, for this family of flagships. The standard model of this family is equipped with a 3900 mAh battery and the Plus model with a 4700 mAh battery. The two smartphones are likely to support 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy S23 will apparently have a 6.1-inch display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Plus model will have a 6.6-inch 120Hz display with Full HD+ resolution. In the center of the upper part of the display of these devices, there is a hole that supports a 12-megapixel selfie camera.
These products are expected to have a triple main camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. In addition, the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus will be equipped with 12-megapixel ultra-wide and 10-megapixel telephoto cameras.
As the most powerful member of the Galaxy S23 series, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with a quad camera with the main sensor of 108 or 200 megapixels. This device, which uses the pen and its special stand, will have a bigger screen and a larger battery with a higher charging speed than its brothers.
