Google has introduced some interesting updates to Bard so that this AI chatbot can give you more personalized answers.

Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot will no longer be satisfied with only receiving information from the web environment to answer you. This chatbot can now scan your Gmail, Docs, Drive, etc. services with the support of extensions. Users can get more personalized responses by providing permission to use this feature.

According to news on the Google blog, Bard extensions, which have been activated for the English version of this chatbot since today, allow this artificial intelligence tool to access various apps of the company, including Gmail, Drive, Docs, YouTube, Maps, and Flights.

So Google Bard can now search through your work or personal emails and documents to find the information you’re looking for. The company emphasizes that the content of your personal data will not be seen by any human and Bard will not use it to display advertisements or train its models.

To use this feature, you can directly ask Bard to search for the content you want in these apps. For example, you can use the mail@ command to search Gmail or ask Bard to search your email in your message.

To use this feature, you can directly ask Bard to search for the content you want in these apps. For example, you can use the mail@ command to search Gmail or ask Bard to search your email in your message.

In the past, you could search the company’s search engine using the Google It button to see if the information Bard gave you was correct. Now this chatbot will show you whether its answers are according to the information obtained in the searches or not. If the result is positive, that part of the answer will be green and if the result is negative, that part will be orange.

Google’s Bard chatbot also now supports the ability to share conversations via links, so you can send links to your conversations to others. With this, others can continue your conversations or you can get links from them and continue their conversations.

Google says the new Bard capabilities are made possible through updates to the PaLM 2 AI model.
