iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max design leaked; Dramatic changes or turtles?
The prototype of the iPhone 16 Pro shows that the new Apple phone will come with changes in the design of the body and buttons.
The MacRumors website has obtained new information about Apple’s iPhone 16 design, including prototypes of the Pro model, and has published a series of renders based on Apple’s internal designs.
Based on the renders, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature larger displays and a new capacitive shutter button, relying on curved edges and a titanium frame.
According to informed sources, iPhone 16 Pro (codenamed Diablo) and iPhone 16 Pro Max (codenamed Lightning) will have larger screens with sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, compared to the 6.1 and 6. 7-inch iPhone 15 series are considered bigger.
The screen size change is likely related to the quad-telephoto camera that is expected to be used in both iPhone Pro models this year. The increase in the size of this year’s devices allows Apple to make room to add a quad camera to the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
While the overall design of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max remained the same during the development phase, it seems that Apple has decided to have a button design similar to the iPhone 15 Pro; Although a button will be added to the right side of the iPhone.
Like the previous generation, the two iPhone Pro models are equipped with a multi-purpose action button. It seems that the action buttons will be the same size as the current iPhone 15 Pro buttons.
On the right side, the iPhone 16 Pro has a brand new capture button that appears to be capacitive and equipped with a force sensor. Bloomberg’s Mark German recently confirmed that it will be used for filming.
The capture button is placed under the power button; Therefore, the mmWave antenna in the iPhone 16 is moved to the left side of the device. The capture button will be flush with the iPhone frame.
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will continue to use the same titanium grade 5 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) used for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
As for colors, Apple’s prototypes use silver, which Apple markets under the name “Titanium White”. So far, Apple has used the existing colors of the iPhone 15 for testing and has plans to add more color options.
Considering that there is a lot of time left until the introduction of iPhone 16, we may see more changes added. There is no information about the price of Apple’s new phone yet.
