Huawei 2024 laptop with 13th generation Intel processor was unveiled
Huawei unveiled a new laptop with Intel’s 13th generation H series processor.
Huawei has unveiled a new laptop with Intel’s 13th generation H-series processor, despite the tightening of US sanctions. The company calls its new laptop the MateBook D14 2024.
The new Huawei laptop is almost identical to the recently released Matebook D14 SE 2024 model. The newer model comes with a better screen and different colors.
According to Huawei’s official statement, this notebook has an integrated metal design with a thickness of 15.9 mm and a weight of 1.39 kg. The latest Huawei laptop comes in silver and dark gray colors.
The screen size of the new Huawei MateBook is 14 inches and is of IPS LCD type with an aspect ratio of 16:10. This panel has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a density of 161 pixels per inch.
The new Matebook display supports 100% of the sRGB color spectrum and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. For comparison, the SE version of this laptop can only cover 45% of the NTSC color gamut and is only available in silver.
The new Huawei laptop uses the 13th generation Intel Core i5-13420H processor with 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. This laptop comes with Windows 11.
Huawei’s new Matebook has several ports, including one USB Type-C Gen 1, two USB Type-A, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features of this computer include a backlit keyboard, dual speakers, dual microphones, fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and support for 65W charging.
Currently, the price of the Huawei Matebook D14 2024 laptop in China is 4,299 yuan ($605) for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage model.
On the other hand, the SE model of this laptop offers almost the same value to buyers with a little less features, at a price of 3,999 yuan ($560).
