“Whether you want to share a collection of summer memories or moments from your camera lens, you can now add music to your carousel posts.”
Other new features of Instagram
Instagram has also introduced a new way for users to collaborate on a post or a Reels. According to the Meta-owned social network, users can now invite up to three friends to co-author a post. A post published by multiple users will be shown to all their audiences. For the first time in 2021, the Collabs feature was launched, through which users can publish a post in collaboration with others.
Additionally, Instagram has changed the way the “Add Yours” sticker, which first arrived in 2021, works to now encourage users to take part in a challenge or use a hashtag.
Finally, Instagram has hinted that it plans to roll out its music collection to more countries in the coming weeks, though no specific countries or dates have been announced yet.
