The founder of Apple, who has criticized Tesla and Elon Musk several times, has now addressed the problem of artificial intelligence in the company’s cars.
In a new interview, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak once again criticized Tesla’s self-driving system, saying people who want to check out “artificial intelligence’s attempt to kill humans” should buy “a Tesla.”
Wozniak, who in the past few years has criticized Tesla, the automobile giant owned by Elon Musk, as well as the billionaire’s management style, said in a new interview:
“If you want to do a study on the mistakes of AI and its many attempts to kill you, buy a Tesla.”

The Apple founder first bought a Model S after he claims Elon Musk scolded him for buying a luxury car in 2013. He then bought a Chevy Bolt electric car to replace the Tesla. Wozniak later criticized Tesla’s self-driving system, but nevertheless bought his second Model S after the release of Autopilot 2.0.
Wozniak, who along with Steve Jobs founded the world’s most valuable company, Apple, condemned Elon Musk late last year for stealing from his customers, including himself. At the time, he claimed that the performance of his own Tesla car was egregiously far from Musk’s claims and that the Tesla CEO was misleading the public.
However, according to reports published over the past year, there seems to be some truth to Wozniak’s claims. For example, last March, a report was published about Tesla’s fatal accident with a fire truck, which apparently involved the company’s autopilot system. “Martin Eberhard”, one of the founders of Tesla, also said that he is not a fan of the self-driving system and that this technology can endanger the future of the company.
