Two companies, Lexus and Adidas, have unveiled a special project in collaboration. This project was developed based on the RX 500h F Sport crossover and inspired by the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The interesting point is that two popular Japanese and German brands have also designed special t-shirts along with this car. These t-shirts will be available in limited quantities.
The joint project of Lexus and Adidas is the result of the cooperation of the design studios of the two companies. This project is a new member of the Wakanda Forever series collection from Adidas. In this collection, Adidas designers present their take on the sports uniform of the Wakanda national team!
A project with a special exterior and interior design
In terms of design, it should be said that the exterior of the Lexus RX 500h F Sport has a completely distinctive effect due to the combination of purple stripes with a black background. Golden rhomboid elements can be seen on the hood.
These elements, which are similar to a cat’s paw, are actually rooted in the Black Panther character necklace. Apart from this element, the designers have used golden color at the bottom of the body, on the door handles, and on the strip around the windows.
On the rear, Vibe-Branium lettering in the Wakandan alphabet is the only difference between the Lexus and Adidas joint project and the standard RX 500h F Sport.
Like the exterior, inside the cabin, we see a theme similar to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In this section, the covers of the seats, door panels, and steering wheel evoke a feeling similar to this movie. It is interesting to know that the backs of the Lexus RX 500h F Sport in this project have the same gender as the soles of Adidas 4DFWD shoes. These backs are produced with the help of 3D printing technology.
In addition, it should be said that in the middle console of the joint project of Lexus and Adidas, the designers have used wood and gold decorations with laser cutting. The Lexus name is also engraved on the infotainment system screen with the Wakandan alphabet.
As mentioned at the beginning, this particular Lexus RX 500h F Sport has exclusive t-shirts. Of course, these t-shirts will only be available to some influencers. On the front of these t-shirts are the words “Educate a Woman, Educate a Nation” in the Wakandan alphabet. Behind them, the vibranium symbol is printed on the periodic table with a combination of purple, black, and gold.
Technical specifications of the joint project of Lexus and Adidas
Technically, the joint project of Lexus and Adidas is no different from the standard model. It is good to know that the Lexus RX 500h F Sport uses a hybrid engine with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine produces a total of 366 horsepower and 551 Nm of torque. Relying on this engine, the Japanese sports crossover is able to accelerate to 60 miles or 96 kilometers per hour in 5.9 seconds.
