Google Pixel 8 was introduced with a familiar design
Google today unveiled the Pixel 8 smartphone with a familiar design at the Made by Google event
After revealing countless information, Google finally unveiled the Pixel 8 series of phones, which, like last years, includes two standard and Pro models. Pixel 8 is equipped with a smaller screen and one less camera.
Before the introduction of the Pixel 8 series, Google had launched a page related to these products, so we were aware of their design. But now the phones of this family have been officially and fully introduced.
Google Pixel 8 technical specifications
This Google phone is equipped with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There are relatively few bezels around the screen, and like previous generations, there is a hole in the center of its upper part to host the selfie camera.
Google Pixel 8 is powered by the 4nm Tensor G3 chip, which has higher performance and lower energy consumption compared to the previous generation. This smartphone is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and is also sold in two versions with 128/256 GB of internal memory. As you can guess, there is no memory card support.
Google has used a 4575 mAh battery with wireless charging support for the Pixel 8 phone. The device also runs Android 14 by default.
In the camera department, we see the use of dual main cameras in the Google Pixel 8 phone. The main camera of this device is 50 megapixels, which is accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. This device is also equipped with a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera.
